Job summary

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at South Hills seeks an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department. You will lead dietitians, cooks, and food service staff to deliver nutritious meals that meet residents' needs and regulatory standards.

In this role you will develop menus, manage inventory and food costs, collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams, and mentor staff to uphold safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in dietary management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards.
• CDM Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the dietary staff, including dietitians, cooks, and food service staff
• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our patients, including special diets and cultural preferences
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including survey and accreditation readiness
• Manage inventory and control food costs to ensure efficient operations
• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and rehabilitation, to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional patient care
• Mentor and train staff members to improve skills and knowledge
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
