Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Food Services Department. This on-site role focuses on providing nutritious meals for patients and staff, maintaining sanitary operations, and supervising the dietary team in a healthcare setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 4 years in food service (preferably in healthcare), and ServSafe certification; CDM is a plus. Bradenton, FL location with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

The facility is looking for a Dietary Manager who will be responsible for managing and coordinating all activities of the Food Services Department. Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade or vocational school training preferred.
• 4 years’ experience in food service. Must have knowledge of record keeping, menu planning, therapeutic diets, and purchasing practices. Experience in a healthcare food service facility preferred.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
• Good organizational skills a must. Also, must be familiar with inventorying, cooking by recipes and writing recipes, writing procedures and supervising a staff.
• Physical Requirements: Good physical health and good mental attitude is essential. Stands and walks most of the day. Handles and manipulates equipment. Tastes and smells food to determine quality. Reaches, lifts and carries relatively light material.
