Join Our Team as a Dietary Manager at Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation

Yellowstone River Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee our dietary department. This role involves managing menu planning, food safety, staff supervision, and ensuring nutritional standards are met for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement nutritious menus in collaboration with the facility's registered dietitian.
• Manage inventory and food ordering within budget.
• Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and safety standards.
• Supervise dietary staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in food storage, preparation, and service areas.
• Coordinate with departments to meet residents' dietary needs and special occasions.
• Keep accurate records of food production, inventory, and staff performance.
• Enforce dietary department policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid CDM License.
• Preferred: 2+ years of dietary management experience.
• Knowledge of nutritional requirements for older adults.
• Experience with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
