Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Dietary Fiber technician for 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am) or 3rd shift (midnight-8:30am) with Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu schedules. You will follow Quality System documents, weigh samples, and perform analyses to meet customer commitments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate degree or 1+ year of experience, plus strong communication and meticulous record-keeping. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree, or 1+ year lab experience.
• Candidates living within commuting distance of Des Moines, IA are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities.
• Adhere to quality measures to meet ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, GLP requirements.
• Operate basic lab equipment and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Set up batches of samples to weigh and weigh samples accurately.
• Perform timely analysis and record data in logbooks and eLIMS.
• Identify need for rechecks and communicate findings with supervisor.
• Maintain glassware, prepare solutions, and report issues promptly.
