Job summary

Fleetwood Post Acute in Easley, SC is seeking a Dietary Director to oversee all dietary department activities, from meal planning to service delivery. You will ensure meals meet physician orders, nutrition needs, and regulatory standards while managing staff and the department budget.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent certification required.
• 2+ years in nursing facility dietary leadership preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the dietary department including meal planning and service.
• Maintain menu compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and purchasing for dietary operations.
• Hire, train, and supervise dietary staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure safe food storage, handling, and sanitation.
• Coordinate with nursing and activities departments for resident well‑being.
• Participate in QA/IDT meetings and provide in‑service education.
