Job summary

Waters of Greencastle, The, LLC is seeking a certified dietary manager to aid the Dietitian in planning, organizing and directing the dietary department. The role ensures quality nutritional services daily and maintains a clean, sanitary facility.

You will coordinate dietary services with Nursing, Housekeeping and Social Services, develop policies and assess residents' dietary needs, while ensuring plans are implemented and reviewed quarterly.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager.
• Graduate of an accredited dietetic training program.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a medical facility.
• Training in cost control and food management.
• Registered as a Food Service Director in the state.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and state regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates dietary services and activities with Nursing, Housekeeping and Social Services.
• Assist in developing dietary policies, procedures, and equipment plans.
• Prepare preliminary and comprehensive dietary assessments for residents.
• Develop written dietary plans of care and goals for each resident.
• Schedule care plans and assessments for review at committee meetings.
• Ensure care plans guide daily dietary services and equipment needs.
• Review and revise care plans quarterly as needed.
• Provide substitute foods of similar nutritive value to residents who refuse foods.
