As our Dietary Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing the dietary staff, overseeing food preparation, serving, and clean-up activities, and ensuring that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met. You will provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Oversee the dietary department, including food preparation, serving, and clean-up activities
Supervise and manage the dietary staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Ensure that food quality standards, inventory levels, food safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and service
Manage and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
Collaborate with other departments, including nursing and activities, to ensure seamless patient care and service
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Manager (CFM) participant or certification preferred (or as required by State & County law)
Two years or more related experience
Food Safety Manager or Food handler Certification: Current ServSafe or State certification required as indicated by State / County law
CDM / CFPP: Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)/Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) required where participant or certification is required by State regulation for long-term care
