Job summary

Southview Acres Health Care Center is hiring a Full Time Dietary Director for a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role leads the food and nutrition services department, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance in a SNF setting.

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing operations, you will work with administration to meet residents' nutritional needs and maintain standards. Minnesota CDM certification required or comparable credential, with strong decision-making and regulatory

Qualifications

At Southview Acres Health Care Center, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We're currently seeking a motivated and skilled Certified Dietary Director to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develp and direct the operations of the food and nutrition services department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as directed by the Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) (or comparable certification) in Minnesota.
• Must posses the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must be knowledgeable of food and nutrition services practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing food and nutrition services functions in nursing care facilities.
• Must be able to read and interpret food and nutrition services cost reports, financial data, etc.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to accurately read, transcribe, and process physician orders.
• Strong customer service orientation.
