Douglas County Nebraska is seeking a data-entry focused Nutrition Services Assistant to support meal planning for patients at the Douglas County Health Center and CMHC, under the direction of the Assistant Director. You will enter dietary orders into EMR and food service software, print tray tickets, assist residents with meals, coordinate with dietitians, and generate reports for the food service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year data entry/clerical experience supporting nutritional care preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish ability may be required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsabilités

• Enter and maintain DCHC/CMHC patient/resident dietary information in EMR and food service software.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals coordinating resident meal plans and dietary restrictions.
• Print tray tickets and updated menu cards for the assigned meal.
• Assist residents with meal selection and preferences.
• Generate reports for Food Service Supervisors and production staff.
• Admit and discharge CMHC and Day Treatment patients utilizing the food service software.
• Answer phone in Nutrition Office and assist with meal orders.
• Maintain food and supply inventory and assist with department budget.
