Job summary

Responsibilities include following production schedules, managing waste, and maintaining a clean kitchen. The position requires collaboration with the Executive Chef and staff to uphold Liberty Cares in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and two or more years of restaurant experience may be required.
• Must be able to operate standard kitchen equipment.
• Attends trainings and department meetings when necessary.
• Performs other duties as outlined by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and assists with recipe modification and development.
• Maintains safe food preparation, handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Creates a positive dining experience that supports resident independence and well‑being.
• Monitors portion controls, minimizes waste, and assists with inventory and supplies.
• Supports the Liberty Cares mission and collaborates with staff and residents.
