You'll plan menus, use a range of techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and more, and collaborate with dietary staff to ensure accurate portions and timely meal delivery. Experience in healthcare kitchens is preferred.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or long-term care kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong menu planning and food safety practices.
• Experience with high-volume production in kitchen settings.
• Proficient with grilling, braising, poaching and other cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment safety.
• Knowledge of dietary needs for seniors is a plus.
