Delta Blues Health & Rehabilitation in Memphis, TN invites you to join as Dietary Cook, shaping nourishing meals for residents through skill and care. You will supervise dietary functions, prepare diverse dishes, and ensure accuracy with diets and presentation.

You will collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus, maintain sanitation, and support residents’ wellbeing with tasty, appetizing meals while upholding safety standards and timely service.

Formación

• High School diploma preferred, or ability to read and write English effectively.
• Previous culinary experience is a plus.
• Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of foods in larger quantities; knowledge of special diets, seasoning, cooking times and temperatures; skilled in estimating quantities and minimizing waste.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the manager.
• Receive reports on meals for normal and special diets, and coordinate food and supply requirements.
• Adhere to special diet orders and use approved substitutions.
• Follow food production plans to ensure quality and presentation.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals in coordination with meal times.
