Qualifications

• Cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff and residents.
• Knowledge of food procedures.
• Willingness to adopt new methods and changes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect special diet trays to assure correct diet is served.
• Complete forms, reports, and submit to Director of Food Services.
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary.
• Work with the facility's dietitian and implement changes as required.
• Prepare meals per planned menus and serve with proper portions.
• Prepare food for therapeutic diets and use standardized recipes.
