• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to prepare meals according to therapeutic diets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and prescribed diets.
• Follow therapy, modified, and special diet requirements as directed.
• Ensure meals are portioned, prepared, and served on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and prep area.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Follow storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Monitor food temperatures and production records.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries.
• Collaborate with dietary team to ensure timely meal service.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility food safety regulations.
