CareCore at Lakeridge in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team, providing quality meals and a positive dining experience for residents. You will prepare and cook meals per planned menus and dietary guidelines, ensure safe food handling, follow sanitation standards, and work with the dietary team and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is required, healthcare or LTC preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets (e.g., mechanical soft, purees) preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and food safety.
• Reliable and team-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals are prepared, served, and stored safely.
• Follow sanitation and infection control standards.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and complete logs.
• Assist with kitchen organization, cleaning, and inventory.
• Collaborate with dietary team and nursing staff.
