Job summary

CareOne is hiring a Cook at Holmdel, NJ to prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards while following CareOne's policies and procedures under the guidance of the Head Cook and Director of Food Services.

This role supports residents with healthy, enjoyable dining experiences across multiple shifts. A High School Diploma or equivalent and cooking experience in foodservice are preferred; strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Follow policies and procedures defined by Head Cook and Director of Food Services.
