Forest Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Newark, NJ, is hiring a Dietary Cook to prepare meals for residents and staff, ensuring food safety and compliance with dietary recommendations.

This role requires at least 1 year in a related position, knowledge of health rules, SERV Safe certification, and flexibility to work day, evening, night, or weekend shifts with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Knowledge of Department of Health Rules and Regulations
• At least 1 year experience in a related position
• Must have SERV Safe Certification

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve meals for residents and staff in accordance with food safety regulations and dietary recommendations.
• Maintain high standard of food preparation, sanitation, storage, and portion control.
• Determine food and supplies needed for daily menus; obtain supplies in time for adequate production.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved.
• Assist in scheduled cleaning duties following established sanitary standards
