Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated dietary cook to join our skilled nursing kitchen, preparing meals that meet residents’ diet specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

In this full-time role, you’ll work under the Food Service Director, participate in food preparation and service, and help foster a warm, supportive dining environment for residents and families alike.

Formación

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet state requirements for food handler training.
• Prior cook experience strongly preferred.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. You will also assist in food preparation as service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
• Prior cook experience strongly preferred.

Shift and Wage

• Full-Time Opportunity Available
• Shifts Needed: Varies
• Wage: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
