Job summary

Wexford House in Kingsport, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook and Aide to join our care team. As part of the dietary staff, you will follow food procedures and help prepare meals and snacks for residents.

Responsibilities

Dietary Cook and Aide Position Summary

As a Dietary Cook and Aide at Wexford House, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
