Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of foods for residents/patients, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of foods according to menus and recipes

• Plan cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedules

• Perform related duties and cleaning duties as assigned

• Direct other Food and Nutrition Services employees in the absence of the Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service Director/Chef Manager

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Experience in commercial/volume food preparation required

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language

• Ability to positively interact with residents/patients

• Ability to solve operational problems in the absence of Food Service Director and Assistant Food Service Director/Chef Manager
