Job summary

CareOne at Randolph in Randolph, MA is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that meet dietary and quality standards for residents. You will join a culinary team in a long-term care setting, ensuring meals are delicious, healthy, and served with dignity.

Requires a high school diploma and 1 year of dietary experience; ability to cook in large quantities; strong English communication and customer service skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong customer service skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and our policies.
• Follow directions from Head Cook/Director of Food Services to ensure quality food service.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness and provide high-quality dining experiences for residents.

The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
