Job summary

CareOne in Randolph, MA is seeking a Cook to join our culinary arts team. You will prepare meals in accordance with our policies and health standards to deliver quality food service to residents.

Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year dietary experience preferred, ability to cook large quantities, and strong English communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Follow established policies and procedures and directives from Head Cook/Director of Food Services.
• Ensure high-quality food service for residents at all times.

The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
