Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to help prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will follow prescribed diets, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, and work under the Food Service Director's supervision.

The role offers on-site work with multiple shift options, and the team enjoys a supportive, caring environment. Training and ongoing education are encouraged to advance in the program.

Qualifications

  • Must have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
  • Must meet and remain current with state-specific requirements for food handler training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. We can provide guidance to earn your GED.

  • Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations under supervision of the Food Service Director.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education / Qualifications
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
    • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
  • Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
Shift and Wage
  • Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
  • Shifts Needed:
    • 6:30a - 2:30p
    • 11:30a - 7:00p
    • Every Other Weekend Required
  • Wage: $16.00 per hour
