Job summary

Opp Health And Rehabilitation LLC in Opp, AL is seeking a Dietary Cook to support our residents by preparing nutritious meals and helping patients on their road to recovery. You'll follow current standards, assist with cleaning duties, and work with a caring team to ensure quality service.

Preference for experience cooking large quantities or training program completion; must be 18+, able to speak/read/write English, and capable of performing essential duties.

We are in search of a Dietary Cook within our growing organization:

• To prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, the facility’s established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Food Service Director, to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.
• Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in cooking large quantities or completion of appropriate training program preferred.

• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
