Job summary

Riverside Health & Rehab Center in McKeesport, PA is hiring for a dietary team member to prepare meals for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will follow prescribed diet specifications and health policies under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

The role offers Full-Time and Part-Time options with shifts 5:30a-2:00p and 11:00a-7:30p. Wages range from $15.25 to $17.25 per hour, with benefits including PTO, tuition assistance, 401K, and health plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state requirements for food handler training.
• Previous food service experience in a skilled nursing home setting preferred.
• GED support available to earn your diploma.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
