Job summary

Autumn Care of Cornelius is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals in a skilled nursing setting, ensuring dietary specifications and safety standards are met. You will contribute to a warm, family-like atmosphere while supporting residents through meals.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety standards.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.
• Work under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunities Available

• Shifts Needed:

  • 6:00a - 2:00p

  • 11:00a - 7:00p

• Wage: $20.00 per hour
