Job summary

River’s Bend Health and Rehab Center is seeking a Full-Time Dietary Associate to prepare meals according to resident diet specifications in a skilled nursing setting. You will help with food preparation and service while keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe under the direction of the Food Service Director.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of food safety and sanitation, with state training requirements met for food handlers.

• Must stay current with state requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diets and safety regulations under supervision.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. As needed you will also assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining area as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Evenings, 12:00p - 8:00p

• Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
