Job summary

The Nova Health & Rehab Center in Virginia is seeking a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals that meet resident diet specifications, support comfort and connection during every meal. This role emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and collaboration with the Food Service Director.

Full-time on-site role with 12:30p–8:30p shifts. Wages range from $12.77 to $14.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and tuition assistance, plus flexible pay options such as

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Guidance and resources to earn a GED are available.
  • Working knowledge of fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
  • Must meet and remain current with state-specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations under the supervision of the Food Service Director.
  • Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice per the community's policies.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

  • Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

  • Full-Time Opportunity Available
