Job summary

North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring dietary needs are met with appealing presentation. The role emphasizes kitchen cleanliness, inventory management, and collaboration with dietitians.

You will contribute to nutritious, high-quality dining experiences and support a respectful, team-oriented kitchen environment. Pay scales based on experience; on-site position in Manitowoc, WI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals, snacks, and special dietary needs for our residents in accordance with our menu and dietary requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor food inventory, ordering and stocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with our registered dietitian and other food service team members to ensure resident food preferences and dietary restrictions are met
• Develop and implement creative and nutritious menu options for our residents
• Participate in meal service and ensure excellent presentation and plating of food
• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, inventory, and resident preferences
