Job summary

California Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our patient meals team. This role will support feeding patients with nutritious, well-balanced menus and assist in meal prep, cooking, and dishwashing in a healthcare kitchen.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Safe Serve Food Handler's Card, and is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.

Dietary Cook Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots
• Requires an active and current Safe Serve Food Handler's Card
• Good physical health to stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

Primary Dietary Cook Responsibilities

• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware

PAY SCALE: $19 - $20 / Hour

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
