Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Lafayette is seeking a PRN Dietary Cook to prepare patient and guest meals in a hospital setting. You will work under the supervision of the Dietary Manager to ensure diets are followed and trays are delivered on time.

The role requires reading and communicating in English; additional languages are a plus, and basic computer skills are expected.

• Ensures trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets.

This position may possibly become Full Time in the future. Prepares patient and guest trays in compliance with dietary specifications prudent to all diets. Cleans and sanitizes utensils, equipment, and station after each mealtime and as required. Assist with tray line service for patients, employees, and guests. Assures patients receive proper diets as ordered. Communicates with the Dietary Manager and the Registered Dietician on a regular basis to ensure trays are delivered at appropriate times with the appropriate diets.
