Job summary

Ranson Ridge in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare meals per resident diet specs in an assisted living setting. You will follow safety and sanitation policies under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of safe food handling, and state food handler training. ServSafe certification is a plus; previous healthcare or assisted living experience preferred; wage is based on experience; part-time evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet state requirements for food handler training.
• Previous assisted living or health care experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

• Previous assisted living or health care experience preferred.

• ServSafe certification is a plus.
