Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated dietary team member in an assisted living setting to prepare meals that meet prescribed resident diets, while following food safety rules and community procedures. You will contribute to comfort, care and connection through every meal served.

Full-time shifts from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with every other weekend. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance, PTO, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; GED guidance available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to prescribed resident diet specifications and community procedures while adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and the Dietary Policies and Procedures.
• Support the Food Service Director and contribute to a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:
