Job summary

Saber-Healthcare-Group is seeking a Full-Time Food Service/Dietary Aide for a skilled nursing setting in Salisbury, NC. You will prepare meals per prescribed diets and ensure compliance with food safety policies, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.

The role offers a 2nd shift (12pm–8pm) with a family-like atmosphere and opportunities for tuition assistance and career growth across our facilities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety standards.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director.Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:
