Saber Healthcare Group in Arkansas is seeking a part-time cook to support our dietary team in a 90-bed skilled nursing facility. You will prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and follow food safety standards.

We offer on-demand and weekly pay options, comprehensive benefits, PTO, tuition assistance and a supportive, team-oriented environment. Shift options include weekends; hourly wage ranges from $19 to $20.

Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
• Previous cook experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications and community procedures.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintain standards.
• Assist in maintaining dietary policies and procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

• Previous cook experience preferred.

Shift and Wage:
