Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Alabama is seeking a part-time dietary team member in a skilled nursing setting to prepare meals to resident diet specifications while following food safety and sanitation policies.

You’ll work under the Food Service Director, enjoy flexible pay options and a family-like atmosphere, and have access to tuition assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour with day and evening shifts, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state-specific requirements for food handler training.
• We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:
