Job summary

Bryn Mawr Extended Care Center in Bryn Mawr, PA, seeks a part-time dietary team member to prepare meals following resident diet specs and safety guidelines. You’ll work under the Food Service Director and maintain sanitation standards in a skilled nursing setting.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

• At least two (2) years of experience preferred.
