Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health in Bakersfield is seeking a Dietary Cook to support dietary and culinary needs for clients in recovery. You will participate in mandatory in-service classes and follow the supervisor's schedule to ensure timely mealtime service.

This role requires a high school diploma, prior food service experience preferred, and knowledge of sanitary techniques. Crestwood offers comprehensive benefits and a values-driven workplace.

Job Summary

The Dietary Cook supports all dietary or culinary requirements in service of the dietary needs of our clients in recovery. They will be expected to participate in all appropriate mandatory in‑service classes. They will follow the work schedule as assigned by supervisor and perform other position‑appropriate tasks as assigned. The Dietary Cook shall fulfill these responsibilities in a timely manner to meet the daily mealtime service requirements.

Schedule

• On‑Call: AM, PM, & NOC (Must be available weekends)

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Previous experience in food service is preferred.
• Knowledge of required sanitary techniques in food service.

Pay Range

$23 - $23 USD
