Base Pay Range

$14.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Dietary Supervisor, the Dietary Cook will prepare, season, and cook food for nursing home residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for residents
• Assist with kitchen cleanup, maintenance, and setting up/taking down dining areas
• Deliver food to residents’ rooms, prepare and serve snacks, and manage food and kitchen supply inventories
• Learn and adhere to facility protocols, procedures, and relevant regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in institutional food service
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly residents and their families

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year as a Cook or Dietary Aide
• Experience in Long Term Care Dietary services required

Shift Availability

12 PM - 8 PM
