The Cook 2 is an intermediate Culinary position which requires excellent communication skills and previous line experience. The Cook 2 will work multiple stations in the kitchen and possess a solid foundation in the fundamentals of cooking. Individuals pursuing this role must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays. Individuals in this role will also require flexibility to support all areas of the Culinary division including the Tradition: An American Kitchen, HeyDey Social Club, colleague dining, and banquets.

• Culinary degree or relevant restaurant experience
• Candidate should possess an intermediate level with a broader understanding of cooking techniques
• Must have proficient knowledge in preparing various styles of eggs, including but not limited to scrambled, over-easy, etc.
• Previous experience in preparing and serving breakfast items
• Proficient in multitasking and managing cooking times for different dishes
• Must be available to work AM shifts
• Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen and coordinate with other kitchen staff
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Varied schedule availability including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift moderate weight (up to 50 lbs)
