Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. operates Medical City Arlington, a four hundred-plus bed facility delivering comprehensive patient care. This role ensures diet orders are accurate, menus are updated per nutrition guidelines, and meals are assembled and delivered to patients with attention to safety.

You will collaborate with the production team and nursing staff to meet dietary needs. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1+ year in food service, and strong reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, plus good

• Good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Ensures all patients’ diet orders are completed accurately by maintaining up to date order information, editing menus following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Manual, obtaining patient menu selections, communicating menu needs to production team, assembling food trays following food safety guidelines, and delivering food trays to patients.

Minimum Position Requirements:

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• One or more years of experience in food service preferred.
