Job summary

Medical City Arlington is hiring for a dietary aide to ensure accurate patient diet orders, edit menus per the Nutrition Care Manual, and coordinate with the production team to deliver meals.

The role requires reading, writing, basic arithmetic, and strong interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with at least one year in food service experience.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in food service preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition principles as related to modified diets preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all patients’ diet orders are completed accurately.
• Edit menus following the Nutrition Care Manual.
• Obtain patient menu selections and communicate needs to production team.
• Assemble food trays following food safety guidelines.
• Deliver food trays to patients.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Ensures all patients’ diet orders are completed accurately by maintaining up to date order information, editing menus following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Manual, obtaining patient menu selections, communicating menu needs to production team, assembling food trays following food safety guidelines, and delivering food trays to patients.

Experience

• One or more years of experience in food service preferred.
