Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Dietary Assistant to provide services in satellite kitchens and dining rooms. You will assist cooks, prepare salads, and ensure customer satisfaction while upholding core values.

Responsibilities include meal service, sanitation, tray preparation for residents on special diets, and collaboration with the dietary team. Part-time, on-site shifts vary; adherence to CHRISTUS Health policies is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of food preparation experience preferred.
• Food Handlers Certificate and Texas Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies.
• Serve meals in a timely and customer-friendly manner.
• Respectfully greet Sisters and customers.
• Maintain sanitation and stock rotation in storerooms and refrigerators.
• Prepare trays and carts for residents on special diets with proper temperatures.
• Attend production and interdisciplinary meetings.
