ExcelCare Norwood is seeking a dedicated Dietary Assistant to support meal service and food preparation for residents. You will follow dietary guidelines, deliver trays, assist with sanitation, and help with storage and inventory while ensuring comfort and dignity for residents.

As part of the culinary team, you will collaborate with dietary and nursing staff, adapt to residents' preferences, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas
• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation
• Provide snacks and hydration as directed
• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences
• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff
