Job summary

The Center for Living and Rehabilitation is seeking Dietary Aides/Food Service staff to join our friendly team. The role involves serving meals with care, assisting with meal prep, inventory, and keeping the dietary areas clean and organized.

Shift hours are 6a-2:30p, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to a compassionate, community-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service environment preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of storage, handling, and preparation of food items.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Assist with meal preparation, inventory of food items, proper storage of food items.
• Assist with the cleaning schedule of the Dietary Department including dining room and kitchen tasks (dishwashing, washing and mopping floors).
• Assist in the daily knowledge and stocking of food inventory.
• Prepare and deliver snacks.
