Job summary

Country Club Rehab & Healthcare Center seeks a friendly Dietary Aide to support our Dietary Team in preparing dining rooms, serving meals to residents, and maintaining sanitation in dining and kitchen areas at our Warrensburg, MO campus.

Responsibilities include delivering meals, keeping areas clean, following tray color codes, assisting cooks and managers, stocking ingredients, and participating in trainings and meetings. Prior food service experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read.
• Meet physical demands - stand, sit, walk extended lengths of time, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines a plus.

• Maintain a clean dining areas & dishes using appropriate procedures, discard leftovers & empty trash.
• Understand and follow color coding and abbreviations of tray cards and therapeutic menus.
• Assists the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Attend all mandatory in-services, educational trainings and department meetings.
