Aria Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist with meal preparation, delivery, and sanitation to ensure residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and respectful environment.

The role emphasizes safe food handling, adherence to diet cards, and efficient tray assembly. A GED or high school diploma is required, with preferred one year of institutional food service experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares items according to recipes and safe handling practices.
• Operates institutional food prep equipment as directed.
• Assists with setting up the food tray line and assembling diet trays.
• Delivers trays to dining areas and units; carries trays when needed.
• Verifies residents receive correct diet and tray.
• Cleans dishes, utensils and equipment per procedures.
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains clean, safe workspaces and reporting any pests or injuries.
