Job summary

Haven Health is seeking a Dietary Aide in Phoenix, AZ to support the dietary team with food prep, serving meals, and maintaining clean kitchen and dining areas.

You will stock supplies, assist in portion control and report on resident food consumption. The role requires a Food Handler’s Permit, background check and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Permit in required counties.
• Fingerprinting clearance card (or eligible to obtain).
• Background screening and drug testing as part of hiring.
• Tuberculosis testing and health screening after hire.
• Ability to move, lift and transfer up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

The Dietary Aide works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and perform a variety of dietary tasks including stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items, preparing, cooking and serving therapeutic meals, assisting in portion control, reporting on resident food and beverage consumption and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining and utility areas.
