Job summary

The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch in Sarasota, FL, is looking for a Dietary Aide to perform dietary tasks in the Skilled Nursing Center and Assisted Living Facility. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits and shift differential pay.

You will assist in meal preparation and service, help maintain dining room operations, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. A high school diploma and dietary experience are required, with opportunities for advancement within the facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3 months dietary experience.
• Ability to read, write and interpret simple instructions.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
• Aids the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Meets scheduled meal and snack times.
• Follows cleaning schedules and performs cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assists in arranging tray cards, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Sets up the dining room and serves members.
• Washes and stores dishes.
• Follows established reporting procedures for supply or equipment needs and safety issues.
• Attends in-service educational programs.
• Follows safety codes and understands fire and disaster plans.
