Position Overview

As a Dietary Aide, you will work closely with the dining services team. Responsibilities include setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cook as needed, completing cleaning duties, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of all required licenses and/or certifications as required by State licensing authority with ongoing maintenance
• Preferred: Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Demonstrated ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
• Honesty, fairness, dependability, respect confidentiality and rights and privacy of others
• Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors and general public
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
